Administrative
Description
Administrative volunteers will help with day-to-day tasks that keep Indraloka running behind the scenes! Jobs may include but are not limited to: answering phone calls and emails, research, scheduling, ordering, and much, much more!
Event Team
Description
Our event team helps with events both on-site and off-site. Help run events such as our monthly Nurture & Nourish events at Indraloka, and help staff tables at VegFests all around the northeast!
Feline Friend
Description
Our feline friend volunteer will help with all daily tasks related to caring for the dozens of cats that call Indraloka home. Jobs may include but are not limited to: feeding, cleaning cat homes, laundry, grooming, and more!
Fundraising
Description
Activities for fundraising may include contacting businesses for raffle and giveaway donations for events.
Gardener
Description
The gardener will spend time helping to improve overall land stewardship, tending to plants and natural features throughout the sanctuary. Our vegetable garden itself helps feed the animal residents, so it is very important to upkeep and care for as well. Gardening tasks include planting, weeding, watering, digging, pruning and more.
Odd Jobs
Description
We're always looking for special skill sets! If you do not see a job description that fits your niche, we would still love to hear what skills you may have to offer Indraloka! We're open to working with you to create a volunteer position that uniquely fits you.
Orientation
Description
Each volunteer deserves credit for their orientation session, which generally includes a full tour of the sanctuary first.
Produce Manager
Description
The Produce Manager will be responsible for coordinating and training volunteers for the pick-up, delivery, and the processing of the produce, and will communicate closely with the Indraloka staff. Produce is very important to the animal residents, and they are very thankful to anyone who is able to help them!
Produce Volunteer
Description
The produce volunteer may be responsible for picking up and delivering produce donations from area markets AND/OR for sorting, distributing, and organizing of the produce back at the sanctuary. Produce is very important to the animal residents, and they are very thankful to anyone who is able to help them!
Recycling Volunteer
Description
The recycling volunteer maintains the sanctuary's recycling system. They help to organize, schedule, a distribute recyclables.
